Once you agree to get started, the first round is typically ready for feedback within 5 business days, and we continue to iterate from there. The process takes roughly 2-6 weeks, pending your ability to provide feedback and other details. If you have a specific deadline, we can meet it!
WordPress is our preferred platform for small business websites. For eCommerce sites, we work with WooCommerce and Shopify. We also frequently interact with Wix, SquareSpace, GoDaddy builder, and other content management systems, primarily in the capacity of converting and shifting them over to WordPress.
Our quotes are typically project-based, with a defined set of deliverables. We can also quote your project on an hourly basis, and our hourly rate is $75/hr. Depending on the deliverables and any custom features of your site, most projects run between $1,500-$5,000, pending the final list of deliverables.
A deposit link will be provided with your contract. Payments can be submitted online via debit or credit. We also accept Venmo and Zelle for one time website payments. Hosting and other services, which are billed on a monthly basis, require online payment via our billing system.
To get started, we need an acknowledgement (verbal, email, signed) that you agree to our contract, along with the initial deposit. A link to submit your deposit can be found at the end of your agreement.
No, but your input is highly encouraged! The more you put in, the better your site will reflect what you do. Decent quality photos of your work, crew, vehicles, building etc. go a long way, so if you have them, or can come up with a plan to get them, all the better! If you need a photographer, let us know.
The goal of most small business sites is to connect with the visitor, and encourage them to take action, ie call, text, email, form submission, etc. We add calls-to-action in the most critical places, on all environments (phones, laptops, desktops, tablets) making it extra easy for visitors to reach out to get information about your services, pricing, etc.
Local optimization is baked into our design, content creation, and development process from the start. Once your site is launched, we set up Google Analytics & Search Console, and customize meta-titles and descriptions.
We start by defining your main and sub-services, and create a unique page for each, complete with optimized content, meta titles and descriptions, and more. For service area businesses that service multiple cities in a geographic region, we highly recommend building our a city specific service page for each.
After your site is built, we offer various, hosting, management and advertising plans. Since WordPress is open source, you are also free to host your site elsewhere.
