Lately, we have been experiencing countless “Divi Builder Time Out” warnings when we try to edit our sites built on the Divi Theme.
A quick search of the Elegant Themes support forum reveals a few people each day also experience the same issue.
After a few hours of troubleshooting, I was able to determine that there is something up between the Yoast SEO plugin and the Divi Builder.
When I turn Yoast SEO on, the warnings pop up anytime I try to edit the backend of a page.
When I turn Yoast SEO off, I’m able to edit the pages just fine, and no warning.
Considering the popularity of the Yoast SEO plugin, this is a big issue, and a big personal problem for me.
Hopefully someone smarter, or the teams behind Yoast and Elegant Themes, the team behind Divi can figure it out ASAP, so we can continue to enjoy the use of these amazing WordPress resources.
