We recently wrapped up launching a fresh revamped website for Veteran’s Accession House, a local non-profit that provides housing and legal services to the local homeless veteran population. The site came out great, and achieves a number of goals.

First and foremost, the site handles the application and intake process, and makes it easy for vets to complete the paperwork right on the website, without having to deal with printing, filling out, mailing and/or scanning forms.

Next, the site highlights various veterans housing initiatives in the local area that Veteran’s Accession House is promoting to local leadership, and hoping to be a part of.

One such initiative, the formation of a Contra Costa Veterans Advisory Committee even has a petition where websites visitors can complete a simple form and email the Board of Supervisors to affirm their support of the committee.

For donations, we were able to set up a PayPal donation form that allows visitors to make a one time or regular donation of any amount of their choosing. We also helped create QR forms that can be used in the various print materials which redirect people to the online donation form.

Finally, we created an intake form that encourage vets to Join Disabled American Veterans through Veterans Accession House, which we use to collect the necessary data to sign people up.

The site is modern, clean, and designed to be mobile-friendly, an important requirement considering many visitors of the site are likely to be using a phone when browsing the site.

The VAHouse.org is just one example of websites we have built for non-profits
