Ames Tutoring & Test Prep is one of the East Bay’s most reputable SAT / ACT test prep & tutoring firms.
Founded in 1993 by Bill Ames, the Lafayette based company has helped countless high school students from the East Bay increase their test scores, and gain admission to the college of their dreams!
For the website, Ames Tutoring was looking for a clean site that would make it easy to display their class schedule and tutoring services, and build out a simple and straight-forward system for allowing students (and their parents!) to book their spot in ACT / SAT Prep classes.
Since Ames Tutoring & Test Prep runs multiple test prep sessions per school year, special care was paid during the Lafayette web design process to allow for easy updating by Ames staff as their schedule turns over to a new session.
We also helped train the staff, and they have managed their website internally, while maintaining their bizdetail hosting plan with extra support, without issue.
Human Resource Advisors is another example of a long term Lafayette small business web design client of bizdetail.
In fact, Human Resource Advisors was the first official client of bizdetail, dating back to 2010!
Initially, we helped them make a video and move their website over to the WordPress platform.
Although the site is a bit older, we were able to update the site to a responsive theme and make it mobile-friendly a few years later.
As of early 2017, we are in the process of working on a website redesign for HRA, plus a custom eCommerce component that provides online HR training videos for managers.
