As of 7/26/16, the Square integration plugin for WooCommerce is here!
What does this mean?
It means that small businesses using the WordPress/WooCommerce combo to handle their eCommerce can now take advantage of Square’s low rates and inventory management for their POS and online store in one place.
Over the last few years, both Square and WooCommerce have slowly built themselves up to become leaders in their respective industries, and it is surprising that it has taken until now for an official plugin to be created. Now that it has, I suppose we can just rejoice and be thankful it is here.
We have already taken on an eCommerce web design project for a local Berkeley business, and will be reporting back after we have used the new WooCommerce Square plugin.
