We recently helped Summer Frisby of Studio SA Remodeling in Alameda launch her first website. While the process with us took about a week, Summer had spent the previous 6 months going back and forth with GoDaddy, who she had initially hired to build her site.
After growing frustrated with their progress, Summer decided to find someone local, and luckily, she found us! Here is how it turned out:
During the initial design phase with GoDaddy, Summer was consistently going back and forth with their design team, and it felt like with each set of revisions, they continued to get further and further away from the goal. By the time she came to us, she had basically worked out the entire design and content, and as a result, we focused our efforts on matching her design with WordPress / Elementor, and bringing her website to life.
One important feature was the ability to edit text and reshape the design without major overhaul. Since she was just starting on her own, flexibility was important, and the ability to make edits on the fly was critical. We got the framework built out in a way that made making changes easy, and all the pieces put into place.
The site currently features 15 portfolio projects, each consisting of a gallery, write up, materials used, key design features, and timeline and costs. Customers can now see her previous work, and help visualize their own remodeling projects.
We built out a process page that explains how she approaches different types of projects, as well as a pricing page. Now that we are live, the site will be used as a tool to talk to customers during the sales process.
