Elizabeth Hubbell Studio is a letterpress and design company located in Berkeley, CA. She came to us as a referral from an existing client with a website that hadn’t been touched or updated in over a decade. She had a very specific vision for her website, starting with the assumption that there should be lots of white space to let the images of her work speak for themselves.
Here is what we came up with:
The site has a modern, minimalist design that is easy to navigate. The homepage features a simple slider of some of her favorite projects, a short video of her operating her printing press, and a hand-drawn logo and images she drew on her own.
Photos of her work are featured on a portfolio page, and are organized and filterable by project-type, including wedding, stationary, holiday, soirée, labels, books & prints.
We carefully curated the portfolio with Elizabeth, making sure the photos were clean, clear, and organized by project.
A portfolio page was added with logos of the many prominent brands Elizabeth has worked with, as well as a testimonials page.
Future additions include a press page, with links to media and other content that features her or her work. We will also add new photos to the portfolio as she wraps up new projects and provides photos.
The end result was a site our client loved, which she worked to craft to match her brand, and make it her own. It is a great resource to show potential clients the quality of her work, whether they are browsing the site on a computer, laptop, tablet or phone.
